North Sydney Council urges the local community to have their say on the future of the area, with subjects like increasing population and changing demographics on the agenda.
Residents are being asked to consider how these and other trends will impact all aspects of North Sydney’s future, including Culture and Creativity, Economic Development, Environment, Housing, Integrated Transport, Open Space and Recreation, and Social Inclusion.

Community forums will take place on the below dates in Hutley Hall at North Sydney Council Chambers at 200 Miller Street.
- Wednesday 22 May, Open Space Community Forum, 6pm to 7.30pm

“The Discussion Papers will guide community consultation by presenting some of the strengths, challenges, and strategic opportunities for each focus area within North Sydney LGA. They will encourage the community to think about where we are now, where we want to be in the future and how we will get there.”
Mayor Zoë Baker said, “We want everyone in the North Sydney community to have their say on our next ten years and play a meaningful role in deciding where we want to be and how we’ll get there.
“Your feedback is crucial in helping us identify our community’s needs and priorities and understanding how we can work together to deliver the outcomes.
“This will be a true partnership between Council and community, and we want everyone to feel empowered to participate in and influence local decision making. Please have your say on North Sydney’s next ten years and help us create a future that reflects the needs and aspirations of our whole community.”
