Home HQ in Artarmon has been listed for sale with $200 million expectations.

A major retail shopping centre servicing the lower north shore, has been listed for sale with $200 million expectations.
Situated in Artarmon’s industrial area and next door to Bunnings, Home HQ is currently tenanted by national retailers including Freedom, JB Hi-Fi and Adairs.

The popular centre is one of only three such malls close to Sydney’s CBD.
A new food and beverage anchor, Depot Brewery, opened at the Frederick St site in 2024.
The complex last traded in 2018 when US giant BlackRock backed a $140m play by Fortius Funds Management for the centre.
“HomeHQ Artarmon is a cornerstone of Sydney’s retail landscape, uniquely positioned to capitalise on an undersupplied Large Format Retail (LFR) market and an affluent catchment,” JLLs Nick Willis said in a statement to Mosman Collective.

The retail site is located next to Bunnings, in Artarmon’s industrial area.

He cited the centre’s proximity to Sydney CBD, combined with its proven retailer evolution achieving rental growth of 4.5 per cent annually since 2018.
HomeHQ Artarmon is one of only three such centres close to the city, alongside Moore Park Supa Centa and Alexandria Homemaker Centre.
“The centre services a trade area population of over 678,000 people, including a primary trade area of 235,561 people with per capita incomes 48% above the Sydney average,” Mr Willis said.

Expressions of Interest close on August 28.
The HomeHQ offering comes with multiple loading docks, high clearance, and 427 parking spaces.
