A Ring doorbell captures confronting scenes in Mosman, as three men enter a Lavoni St property early on Sunday morning.

The home-owner, who does not wish to be identified, was woken at 3:43am when the camera’s sensor light was activated as the intruders walk past the front door, towards the rear of the residence.

Three men, all wearing black, were captured by this Ring doorbell camera after entering the Lavoni St property.

One man – believed to be in his early 20s and sporting a moustache – stares straight into the camera. He is clad in red gloves and wears a black “Everlast” hoodie, black shorts and shoes.

“They jumped the front fence, and this footage is them going past our front door towards our side gate when they turned around without entering the back area,” the shocked local told Mosman Collective.

Two others, their faces obscured by masks, are then seen departing the property.

Minutes later, the garage of a property across the street was broken into, before a neighbour screams and the men leave the area, heading towards Awaba St.

“We rang 000 immediately but did not require a police visit as they had left the premises,” the Lavoni St resident said.

“My husband then appeared at Mosman Police early Sunday morning and handed over this same footage. We were visited by a Chatswood Police detective by midday.”

The terrifying experience follows a night of drama in Mosman, with two cars stolen on Moruben Rd in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police are investigating two separate incidents in Mosman early on Sunday morning.

Following that alleged incident, a 14-year-old boy has been arrested and will face court.

Police confirm officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command attempted to stop a Toyota Hatchback and a white Mercedes hatchback on Spit Road around 5am.

When the vehicles failed to stop, a pursuit was initiated before the Toyota crashed into a guard rail near Pearl Bay Avenue.

The driver of the Toyota – a 14-year-old boy – was arrested before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for minor injuries.

A short time later, police located the Mercedes and a red Mazda vehicle on Punch Street, Mosman, where the occupants of both vehicles were speaking to each other.

As the marked police vehicle approached them, the Mercedes allegedly collided with the police vehicle.
The driver of Mercedes – yet to be identified – left the vehicle on Spit Road and it was alleged he entered the red Mazda vehicle before it left the scene.

Further inquiries by detectives revealed that the silver Toyota hatchback and white Mercedes were both stolen at an address on Moruben Road.

Anyone with information on either incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
