Crows Nest is getting a Marriott.
Marriott International has confirmed a 100-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel as the hospitality anchor of the new Falcon & Alexander development, marking the brand’s return to metropolitan Sydney.
The hotel will occupy the first three levels of the tower, which is currently under construction, with an opening scheduled for late 2027.

Courtyard by Marriott is squarely aimed at the business traveller.
The brand’s pitch is substance without ceremony: Smart rooms with flexible workspaces, ergonomic furnishings, high-speed connectivity and plush bedding for the kind of guest who has an early flight and a board meeting at 9am.
The Crows Nest Metro station is on the doorstep, with direct rail into the heart of the CBD, a selling point that is fundamental to the hotel’s commercial case.
Sydney’s North Shore is rapidly becoming a vibrant extension of the CBD through new transport connections, said Scott Boyes, CEO of hotel operator Trilogy Hotels, which will manage the property under a franchise arrangement with Marriott International.

The globally recognised hotel brand will anchor the hospitality offering within the developer’s $640 million project.
Every Courtyard property runs food and drink through the brand’s signature Bistro concept, with breakfast and evening service including cocktails, alongside meeting spaces and a fitness centre.
Comparable Australian properties, at Brisbane South Bank and Melbourne Flagstaff Gardens, charge between $165 and $280 a night. No rates have been announced for Crows Nest.
The Falcon & Alexander development is delivering 212 apartments alongside boutique retail and dining at ground level, creating what Deicorp describes as a walkable, integrated destination in the heart of the Crows Nest village.

Trilogy Hotels, formed in 2023 and now managing more than 3,700 rooms across 22 sites, is also working on the first AC by Marriott, announced earlier this year at the Hyde Metropolitan project on Liverpool Street.
Marriott International’s Director of Hotel Development for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, Tristan Cooper, confirmed the signing represents a significant moment for the brand.
“Sydney remains one of our most important markets in Australia, and the return of the Courtyard by Marriott brand to the city is a significant milestone,” he said.
The Courtyard by Marriott Sydney Crows Nest is scheduled to open in late 2027.
