Planning to hit the slopes this winter? Looking to save a few bucks?
The iconic Aldi Snow Gear Special Buys range hits the middle aisle this Saturday, May 23 – offering more than 50 winter essentials from $4.99, nothing over $100 – and history shows the shelves don’t stay full for long.

New research from Aldi finds 3.7 million Australians are planning a snow trip in 2026. Of the 1,033 surveyed, 35 per cent said family and friends inspired the booking and 27 per cent credited social media.
What’s in the range?
Back in 2026: Adult ski and snowboard jackets ($59.99) and the fan-favourite women’s one-piece snowsuit ($79.99). New in is a premium ski jacket at $99.99, rated to 20,000mm waterproof.
Ski pants are $49.99, sherpa jackets $39.99, soft-shell jackets $59.99. Accessories: wool ski socks $9.99, premium touchscreen gloves $9.99, knitted beanies, scarves or neck warmers $6.99.

Children’s thermoboots are $29.99, snow jackets $39.99.

“Families looking to start the kids young can kit toddlers out in a high performance Children’s Snow Suit for just $39.99,” Belinda Grice, from ALDI Australia said.
“Children up to 14 can also get geared up in waterproof and wind resistant matching snow jacket and snow pants combos for under $70, all in quality so good they can be handed down to littler ones for years to come.”
Thermals and merino
Merino base and mid layers round out the range: Australian merino sweat hoodies or jackets ($39.99), quarter-zip tops ($39.99), tanks or camis ($19.99), fleece tops ($19.99) and two-piece ski thermal underwear ($29.99).
