Reddam House, one of Sydney’s top ranking independent schools, will open in North Sydney in 2025.

North Sydney is set for a new private school next year when Reddam House North Shore opens on McLaren St.

The school will accommodate up to 1,350 students, with an initial intake from Kindergarten to Year 10.

It will be the third Reddam House Sydney campus, with its existing sites well-established in the eastern suburbs. The school also has Early Learning Centres in St Leonards, Lindfield and Woollahra.

School fees are estimated to start at $27,110 for a Kindergarten day student, $40,960 for Years 9 and 10, and $43,400 for Year 12.

Inspired, a global group of premium schools across six continents, confirmed the plan to begin operating in time for the 2025 academic year.

“The new 8-storey state-of-the-art school will be located in the iconic Harry Seidler designed, historic Simsmetal House,” a statement released to Mosman Collective said, “This new school will protect the site’s heritage while embracing its history and giving it a new purpose.”

The school will cater to students from Kindergarten to Year 9, with additional year groups being added annually.

The school said it plans to add one additional year group annually.

“Students will be provided with an exceptional education experience in a vast 9,000 square metres of floor space with premium facilities purpose-built for modern education.”

Reddam House in North Sydney will cost $55 million to build and feature state-of-the-art Science labs, a rooftop terrace with sweeping views over the harbour, a dance studio, a gymnasium, a sports hall and multiple libraries, according to Inspired.
