Or view a sustainability webinar on Draught Proofing for Winter, available from 12 June, to learn simple yet effective techniques to seal up draughts that can contribute to heat loss and higher energy bills. Register on the website.
Library Loans
Mosman Library Service recorded one of its busiest months for book borrowing in April, off the back of a high-demand period for electronic publications over the summer.
Readers can browse the shelves at Barry O’Keefe Library by genre, or select from the new titles, staff picks or fast read displays. Books can also be reserved online and collected during opening hours.
Electronic collections are available 24/7, across the Shorelink Library Network, of which Mosman is a member.
Between October 2023 and February 2024, more than 87,400 eResources were borrowed through Shorelink, with eMagazine loans doubling from September to October.

Sustainable Transport
Council is seeking community views on transport options to assist with future promotion of active transport in Mosman.
Between February and April, residents and businesses were encouraged through a public awareness campaign to use bus services and short walks to travel to areas such as Balmoral Beach and Mosman Village.
Feedback is now being sought through an online survey, open until 7 June, to gain additional insights about promotion of sustainable transport choices and community utilisation of services.
It is part of Council’s ongoing work to address traffic congestion, parking issues and environmental concerns.
