Attention shoppers! We have a launch date for the new Coles supermarket on Grosvenor St in Neutral Bay.
The grocery giant will open its doors on Wednesday 16 April.

The new Grosvenor St store opens on Wednesday 16 April.
Coles has confirmed the 4,282sqm site is set to offer a contemporary shopping experience, with an open-front bakery, fresh seafood, grab-and-go meals, in store sushi and an adjoining Liquorland.
The new outlet comes in addition to the existing Coles at Big Bear Shopping Centre, which will remain open. That means Neutral Bay will soon be home to two full-scale Coles supermarkets, along with the smaller Woolworths on Rangers Rd.
Coles said it is working with North Sydney Council on its ‘broader vision for Neutral Bay,’ which included residential dwellings above a new supermarket, public underground car parking and a community plaza.
Council issued an Expression of Interest on 11 December 2024 for a potential Grosvenor Lane Plaza, which closed on 21 February.

The 4,282sqm site was previously a Woolworths supermarket for 47 years.

Regional Manager Sam Ilott said Coles was ‘excited to refresh and bring the Grosvenor Street site to life as a rebranded Coles supermarket and Liquorland.’
“With the site set to reopen, our team is working tirelessly to deliver a fresh and revitalised shopping experience for the Neutral Bay community,” Mr Ilott said. “We appreciate everyone’s patience and support during this exciting transition period.”
The brand replaces Woolies after its Feb 4 closure, ending a 47 year history on Grosvenor St.
