Now in its 23rd year, Good Food Month is jam packed with one-off foodie events, putting the city’s restaurants front and centre on the national stage.

Across the month, almost 50 events, deals and classes will pop up across Sydney and regional New South Wales. In Mosman, diners can celebrate ‘Sea to Shore’ at Ormeggio with coastal treasures plucked straight from the ocean. Think Appellation oysters, silky caviar, umami packed sea urchin and wild fish sourced sustainably.

Ormeggio Squid ink spaghetti alla chitarra.

At Balmoral, Public Dining Room is hosting a gala luncheon from Monday to Friday, right through January. The set menu includes pan roasted King Salmon with an array of delectable sides, plus a glass of wine or a Peroni starting at just $42.

In Kirribilli, The Botanist will be powered by plants on Tuesday 18 January, for an exclusive dinner curated by Head Chef Scott Mills. The $89 per person, set food and wine event to include vegan twists on Botanist favourites, sourced from sustainable producers. The menu will be paired with four glasses of natural, biodynamic wines.

Good Food Month runs from Saturday 1 January to Monday January 31.
