The event was recorded by a home security camera on Cobbittee St at 12:16 pm on Thursday.

WATCH THE EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Three women have been captured defacing a poster of Federal Member for Warringah, Zali Steggall.

The footage, triggered by a Ring doorbell, shows three well-dressed ladies inadvertently activating the camera.

It reveals a blonde woman, dressed in a pink and white striped dress, vandalising a poster depicting the face of the Federal Member for Warringah. Above the image, the word “Pig” is smeared in crimson.

Off camera, a voice – thought to be the lipstick owner – laments that the makeup item had been “ruined.”

“Shit, was it a Chanel?” the blonde woman then shrieks, “Why did you let me do that?”

The incident took place on Cobbittee St, Mosman, at 12:16pm on Thursday.

The third group member then encourages the blonde woman to add “piggy things on her nose”.

The Cobbittee St homeowner, who does not wish to be identified, told Mosman Collective she was shocked by the “despicable” act.

“To see mature women engage in such vulgar behaviour in broad daylight is appalling,” she said.

“My property has been vandalised, and I feel violated – their actions defy words. We are not talking about children or teenagers; these are grown women who look to be in their 60s.”

“Was it a Chanel?” The designer lipstick – allegedly used to deface the poster of Zali Steggall – will set you back a hefty $72.

The homeowner added that the poster had been recently delivered and placed on her front gate over the weekend.

“It is a shameful, truly awful thing for someone to do. I find it hard to comprehend. To reduce our Federal Member to nothing more than an animal is the lowest of blows.”

Officers from North Shore Police Area Command attended the scene this afternoon and have commenced enquiries.

Three women have been captured on a Ring doorbell, vandalising a poster of Zali Steggall with a red Chanel lipstick.

Federal Member for Warringah Zali Steggall told Mosman Collective she became aware of the incident late this afternoon.

“It’s really disappointing to see vandalism in our community,” Ms Steggall said, “It shows disrespect for others property and goes against the values of respectful political discourse.

“I call on all members of our community to show respect for each other’s property and engage in respectful and constructive political dialogue.

“I understand the matter has been reported to the relevant authorities. Our campaign remains focused on addressing the real issues that matter to our constituents.”
