🎼 North Sydney Symphony Orchestra

When: Sunday 16 March from 4:30pm
Where: St Leonards Park, Miller St, North Sydney
Cost: FREE
The first of the three events will be headlined by the 50-piece North Sydney Symphony Orchestra, known for their wide range, from classical masterpieces to lively swing arrangements. Supported by Billie McCarthy, a soulful jazz and folk vocalist.

🥗 Crows Nest Autumn Markets

When: Saturday 15 March from 9:00am
Where: Ernest Place, Crows Nest
Cost: FREE
Over 20 stalls selling great gifts, toys, jewellery, food items, handcrafts and much more, just five minutes walk from Crows Nest Metro and free 2 hour parking in nearby parking stations.

Crows Nest Autumn market is on Saturday 15 March.

The popular North Sydney pub is putting on a weekend long celebration in honour of the Irish patron saint, packed with Irish spirit, delicious food and live music. A full Irish breakfast (pork sausage, eggs, bread, black pudding, hash browns, beans, mushrooms and bacon) will be available 7am until 11am (or until sold out).

Death Café is an opportunity to chat in a relaxed and informal way about death and dying. The conversation can flow from personal stories to thoughts, reflections and questions about death. It is a time to listen as well and be respectful of others. And, to share a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of cake.

📚 Book Sale

When: Friday 28 March from 4:30pm – 8:30pm
Where: Barry O’Keefe Library, Mosman
Cost: FREE
Browse and buy a wide variety of books, audiobooks and magazines for children, youth and adults. Books will be sold for $2 each and magazines will be five for $2.

Barry O’Keefe Library will host a second-hand book sale on March 28.

🚧 Mosman Local Planning Panel (MLPP)

When: Wednesday 19 March from 10:30am
Where: Video conference

Cost: FREE
The next meeting of the Mosman Local Planning Panel (MLPP) will be conducted via video conference. The Agenda is available on Council’s website. Pre-registration to address the Panel is required.

🐛 Composting and Worm Farming Workshop

When: Thursday 20 March from 10:30am
Where: Mackie Lane Community Garden, Mosman
Cost: FREE
Composting and worm farming are great alternatives to disposing of your food waste in the rubbish bin while creating natural fertiliser for your garden. By recycling food scraps in a compost bin or worm farm you can help reduce organic waste disposed to landfill. Bookings HERE.
