Mosman shops to display top Australian paintings in 2025 annual Art Walk.

For the fifth year, local shops and businesses will take part in the 2025 annual Art Walk, a unique art trail and fundraiser for Mosman High School.
Running for three weeks, from 20 February to 11 March 2025, the trail will showcase the diverse works of more than 40 acclaimed Australian artists including Ken Done, Ann Cape, Rhett Brewer, Amanda Tye and Evert Ploeg, many of them lower north shore residents.
Mosman Art Walk was established in 2021 by the Mosman High Art Committee of parents and volunteers.
“In response to the Covid lockdowns, the original idea was to support local artists, businesses and Mosman High’s talented art students and dedicated teachers,” Committee Chair Ann King said.
For the first time this year, Mosman Art Gallery has curated the entries, which have been matched with retailers.
“The walk has gone from strength to strength since 2021. Each year our participating retailers have been amazing, trusting us with their display windows, and the walk has been embraced whole-heartedly by the local community as an annual cultural highlight.”
Works will feature in the front windows of village retailers and we can reveal Ken Done’s painting will take pride of place at Three Sparrows books, with a Cristabel Blackman work at Bendigo Bank.

“Anyone can stroll the streets to enjoy these original artworks for free, ranging across paintings, prints, sculptures and ceramics, and all works are for sale,” Ms King said.
“If you love an artwork, you can buy it on the spot via QR code, or via the Mosman Art Walk website.”
30 per cent of each sale goes to support Mosman High School’s art program.
Participating stores include P. Leahey Real Estate, Acte 3 Lingerie, Bec + Bridge, Harry Hartog, Bailey Nelson, The Floral Craftsman, Arms of Eve, plus many more!
