Market Surge: Prestige agent Michael Coombs reports “unprecedented” buyer interest in this luxury Mosman home.

Published On: February 24, 2021

The local market is in for another busy weekend, with a swag of prestige listings scheduled for upcoming auction and demand outstripping supply on Sydney’s lower north shore.

“We have so many new listings all the way from Mosman to Byron Bay, ranging in price from $5 million to $20 million,” said Michael Coombs, founding partner of Atlas.

“I can’t remember the market being this busy and we even have people buying properties sight unseen.

“My team is seeing 50-60 groups through at every open house and stock is flying off the shelf, it’s insane.”

Case in point Coombs says, is the “unprecedented” interest in 22 Wunda Rd, Mosman, a meticulous, brand new Hamptons home in one of Mosman’s premium streets.

“We still have buyers queueing up to see this property and 15 contracts out ahead of its auction on Saturday,” he said.

The five-bedroom, four-bathroom family residence is a refined timeless showpiece, offering superior indoor and outdoor living, double vaulted ceilings, and French pane windows.

“The attention to detail is faultless,” Coombs said, “it’s a brand-new family home that’s never been lived in, located in one of Mosman’s best streets.

“There’s a Calacatta island bench and breakfast bar, Gaggenau appliances including a double oven plus a huge butler’s pantry,” Coombs says, “but the property also has a stunning skylit deck with a full sized outdoor kitchen so you really have the best of both worlds.”
