Burger lovers no longer high and dry, with cult Sydney hotspot finally landing in Neutral Bay.

Cult Sydney burger bar High and Dry has opened to rave reviews in Neutral Bay.

Neutral Bay has scored a serious win in the burger stakes, with cult favourite High N’ Dry opening its first north-of-the-bridge outpost – much to the delight of local foodies and families.
The new venue, opposite Woolworths at 4-6 Rangers Rd, is the third High N’ Dry in Sydney, joining existing sites in Leichhardt and Rosebery.

The Burger bar is located across from Woolworths at 4 Rangers Rd (next door to Bacino).
Owners Andrew Saliba and Ben Kagan told Mosman Collective they’ve received “the warmest of welcomes” from residents over the past week, who’ve been keen to try American style burgers, fried chicken wings and a selection of 15 craft beers.
“We chose Neutral Bay because it has a similar vibe to Leichhardt,” Ben said, “it took us a year to find the perfect retail vacancy off the main drag.”
“This southern side of Military Rd is pumping with great food and drink options, and we’re thrilled to have found our new home on Rangers Rd.”

The extensive menu offers a range of burger options, sides and 15 locally made craft beers.

With more than a decade in hospitality under their belts, Ben and Andrew say High N’ Dry is renowned for its carefully curated menu, focusing on quality over quantity.
“We are all about flame grilled, Wagyu blend beef patties with a delicious smoky flavour,” he said.
The single beef burger is High N’ Dry’s most popular, filled with wagyu, American cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato, onion and secret sauce.

Loaded fries could be just what the Doctor ordered after a big night out!
Ben’s favourite, he says, is the Nashville Hot Chicken Burger, served hot or extra hot fried chicken, pickles, lettuce, red eye mayo with blue cheese or ranch sauce. The Porto burger is also a spicy delight, with peri peri sauce, cheese and all the standard toppings.
Vegetarians are well catered for too, with a Southern Fried Tofu burger and a deep-fried “wickedly good” panko crumb mushroom burger, Ben says.
Popular sides include chicken tenders (classic or Nashville style) and house-made specialties like cheeseburger spring rolls and jalapeno poppers.

High and Dry’s signature burger is filled with wagyu. Beef, American cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato, onion and secret sauce.
High N’ Dry also leans hard into its bar credentials. Neutral Bay locals can work their way through 15 different craft beers from NSW breweries, along with a line-up of spirits and local wines. A full liquor licence means you can drop in for a drink without ordering food – a welcome addition to the lower north shore’s bar scene.
“We change the craft beer menu every few months so there’s always something new to try,” Ben said
From the playful “Good times, better burgers!” branding to cartoon-laden posters spruiking secret menu items, combo deals and app credit, the whole place is built for dine-in fun, but takeaway and delivery are on the cards too. The venue is family-friendly (12 tables), open seven days from 11:30am for lunch and dinner, closing at 9pm Sunday to Thursday and 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
