Mother’s Day 2026: Three lower north shore markets to shop this weekend.

Choose something special for Mum ahead of Mother’s Day, at local markets on this Saturday and Sunday.
By ANNA USHER
With Mother’s Day on May 10, lower north shore locals have a three-market window this weekend to find something special for mum, without resorting to a bunch of flowers from the servo.
Mosman, North Sydney and Kirribilli are all running market days on Saturday and Sunday, offering hand-rolled floral teas, single-origin chocolate, vintage fashion, ready-made meals and more than 220 stalls of artisan goods.
Here’s the rundown.
Mosman Market: Saturday 2 May, 8am – 3pm
Mosman Market kicks off on Saturday morning with stalls, food, and live music from local band Slick Iguana plus a line-up of Mosman High School musicians.
Shoppers can also drop their bicycles in for a free tune-up, with mechanics on site through the morning.
An added bonus is the introduction of Free Comic Book Day, with Mosman Library Service running a stall offering Community Zines, comic bookmark workshops and graphic novel borrowing.
The library itself will host free comics, zines and creative workshops for all ages on the day.

Mosman, North Sydney and Kirribilli are all running market days this weekend.
Northside Produce Market: Saturday 2 May, 8am – 12pm, Ted Mack Civic Park, 200 Miller Street, North Sydney
Coordinator Lisa MacDonald has lined up a Mother’s Day program packed with edible gifts that beat a last-minute supermarket dash.
Top of the list is Neo Naturally Australian’s Mona, who has hand-rolled floral tea balls especially for the occasion. Each ball unfurls into a tea bouquet when steeped, with flavours including Jasmine, Lily, Rose and Chamomile.
The Pantry Providore’s Colin is running a Mother’s Day special on his organic Horseradish Vinegar, which doubles as a salad dressing and a therapeutic tonic, alongside his organic Bio-Curcumin, a bio-active turmeric extract billed as a strong natural anti-inflammatory.

Hand-rolled floral tea balls and specialty teas from Neo Naturally will be at Northside Produce Market this Saturday.

For mums who would rather not cook, Tasteville’s Sudha is back with her ready-made range, including Spiced Chickpeas and Lamb Saag, made with quality ingredients and no nasties added.
Chocolate fans should head straight to Kokoartisan, where Bertrand has returned with his signature couverture chocolate, hand-crafted directly from cacao beans for a higher cocoa content.
The market is also running a free one-hour ‘Behind the Scenes’ tour hosted by 2016 MasterChef Australia winner Elena Duggan. Bookings are essential.
Free bike tune-ups are also available at the Check In & Tune Up stall from 8am to 11.45am, supported by North Sydney Council.

Mosman Market is open this Saturday 2 May, 8am – 3pm.
Kirribilli Markets: Sunday 3 May, 8.30am – 3pm
Sunday belongs to Kirribilli, which is running its Art, Design and Fashion Market edition with more than 220 stalls.
Expect artisan pieces, new and vintage clothing, gourmet baked goods, homewares and original art, plus food and live music.
