60-year-old Neutral Bay woman busted on drink driving charges at Big Bear.

Neutral Bay

Police were patrolling in Neutral Bay when they stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Military Road and Young Street around 11pm on 10 September.

An 18-year-old Cherrybrook woman was issued with a Court Attendance Notice for possession of a knife and breaching public health orders and a 19-year-old North Narrabeen woman was issued with a Court Attendance Notice for breaching public health orders.

Crows Nest

A Glebe man has been charged with drug possession, breaching public health orders and breaching bail.  The man was arrested in Crows Nest around 1.00am on Sunday 12 September after Police observed him standing on the footpath on Falcon Street.

When Police spoke with the man, they discovered he was breaching one of his bail conditions, a curfew to be home between 8pm and 6am.  The man was taken to Chatswood Police Station and refused bail and is due to face Downing Centre Local Court this week.

Kirribilli

Police stopped a vehicle in Waruda Street around 8.00pm on Saturday 11 September.

The driver, a 27-year-old Girraween man, was allegedly driving with a suspended licence and was issued with a Court Attendance Notice. He is due to appear at Manly Court on 28 October.

Neutral Bay

Plain clothes Police were patrolling in an unmarked Police vehicle on Thursday 9 September when they stopped a vehicle around 3pm at Big Bear Shopping Centre.

Checks indicated that the vehicle was unregistered, and the driver was disqualified from driving. When Police spoke with the driver, they also noticed a strong smell of alcohol.  The driver was arrested after failing a roadside breath test and a breath analysis at Chatswood Police Station produced a low range result of 0.051.

The 60-year-old Neutral Bay woman is due to face Manly Court on 14 October, charged with

Drive while disqualified (2ndoffence), Use unregistered vehicle and Drive with low range Prescribed Concentration of Alcohol (2nd offence).

Crows Nest

A 32-year-old Crows Nest man has been charged with Damaging Property.  Police allege that the man went on a rampage around the house he shares with two flat mates when he couldn’t find the cannabis he had purchased earlier that day. The man is alleged to have damaged around $100 worth of property including a chest of drawers, lamp shades and gates. He is due to appear at Hornsby Court on 5 October.

Lane Cove West

A 59-year-old Lane Cove West man has been charged with Intimidation. Police allege that, on 8 September the man repeatedly bashed on the front door of one of his neighbours’ doors in the unit block they share in Johnston Lane, demanding to speak with her.

When the neighbour didn’t answer the door, it is alleged that the man threatened to kill her. The man is due to appear at Hornsby Court on 29 September.

Artarmon

Police were called to Punch Street around 9pm on 8 September regarding a collision between a white Nissan and a parked car.

The driver of the Nissan, a 51 year old Crows Nest man, failed a road side breath test and was arrested and taken to Chatswood Police Station ,where a breath analysis produced a high range result of  0.188.

The Crows Nest man is due to face Hornsby Court on 7 October, charged with High Range Prescribed Concentration of Alcohol.
