Local police report a week of Eshay’s, sexual advances, drink driving – and a woman found with cannabis in her lady parts, as ANNA USHER reports.

Mosman man charged with unwelcome advances.

Police have charged a 35-year-old Mosman man with SEVEN counts of sexually touching another person following an incident at his Spit Road unit last year.

It will be alleged that on the afternoon of Saturday 2nd October 2021, the Mosman man invited a female friend to his unit after the pair met up to walk the young lady’s dog at Balmoral.

Police will further allege that once back at the apartment the man made several attempts to forcefully engage in sexual activity with the young woman.

Following a detailed investigation, the Mosman man was arrested at his home on Thursday 10th February, he will face Manly Local Court later this month.

Police have charged a 28-year-old Crows Nest woman with trespassing and drug offences following an incident in Naremburn earlier this month.

Police will allege that around 5:45pm Saturday 5th February the Crows Nest woman entered a home on Dalleys Road where she began yelling at the homeowners.

“The homeowners alerted police this caused the woman to flee into the rear yard of an adjoining property,” North Shore Police Area Command said.

“Upon arrival police observed the woman to be in a highly agitated and erratic state as such the woman was taken by ambulance to Royal North Shore Hospital for treatment.

“While receiving treatment police will further allege hospital staff identified that the woman was concealing a number of items internally, one of these being an amount of what police believe to be Cannabis.

“Following treatment, the woman was taken to Chatswood Police station where she was charged in relation to the matter.”

She was refused bail and will face Hornsby Local Court next month.

Medical staff got the fright of their lives when they found Cannabis inside a woman’s vagina this week.

Chatswood Eshays are back at it again.

Police have charged a 14-year-old Artarmon boy with a range of offences after an incident occurred in Chatswood last week where the boy chased several other teenagers while wielding a knife.

Around 3:00pm, three local teens were at Chatswood Interchange eating a meal when they observed the Artarmon boy riding his bike nearby.

The Artarmon boy has then allegedly approached them and produced a knife, threatening the group causing them to flee the area.

“The kids then made their way to Chatswood Mall where a short time later they observed the boy pedalling furiously towards them while holding the knife,” Police said.

“The friends again fled with one seeking refuge in a nearby shopping centre.

“The boy is alleged to have pursued the victim into the centre and threatened to stab the teen.

“Witnesses alerted police who arrived a short time later and arrested the boy who police will allege was also in possession of a toy gun at the time of the incident.”

The boy was charged with assault, 2 counts of intimidation and possession of a knife. He will face court next month.

Wasted in Wollstonecraft.

About 6:00pm Tuesday 15th February police were patrolling Shirley Road, Wollstonecraft when they observed a vehicle being driven in an erratic fashion.

Police stopped the white Holden Astra and upon speaking with the driver, a 61-year-old Wollstonecraft man, immediately observed him to be heavily intoxicated.

The driver underwent a roadside breath test which returned a positive result. As such he was arrested and taken to Chatswood Police Station where a breath analysis returned a high range reading of 0.154 grams of alcohol in his breath.

Further enquiries established the driver’s licence had recently been disqualified till October 2025 for having previously committed similar offences and that the registration of the vehicle had expired in June 2021.

The Wollstonecraft man will face Manly Local Court in March.

A 61-year-old man from Wollstonecraft blew high range (0.154) this week.

Attempted kidnapping in Lane Cove.

Police have charged a 43-year-old Lane Cove North man with attempting to kidnap a child from a Lane Cove child care centre earlier this week.

Police will allege the man entered the centre around 5:30pm Monday 14th February, shortly before the centre was due to close.

“At the time the child was the last child in care at the centre,” Police said.

“The man entered the centre and spoke with staff, telling them he was the child’s father and that he wished to take them.

“Staff were familiar with the family of the young child and declined the man’s requests. It will be alleged the man was very insistent and began loudly arguing with staff while continuing to request they over the child to him.”

Following a detailed investigation, on Wednesday 16th February police attended an address on the Pacific Highway, Lane Cove North and where the man was placed under arrest.

He was refused bail and will face Hornsby Local Court later this week.
