Hunter Valley Uncorked returns to Balmoral Beach on Sunday 22 October.

Following a triumphant comeback in 2022 after a two-year hiatus, Hunter Valley Uncorked Balmoral is returning to Balmoral Beach on Sunday October 22.

Supported by Wine Selectors and Festival of Mosman, you’re officially invited to savour a sunny Sunday while tasting the best food and wine the Hunter Valley has to offer.

Hunter Valley Uncorked is one of the 2023 Festival of Mosman highlights this year.

Whether you are sipping on award-winning Semillons, or unwinding near the Rotunda with live tunes, courtesy of Soul Shack Music, come and join a delightful blend of wine, cuisine and great companionship. With all your favourite Hunter Valley wineries, restaurants and producers in one place, it’s a day you won’t want to miss.

Some of the Hunter Valley’s top hand-picked drops will be in circulation including 1813, Allandale Winery, Bimbadgen, Bonvilla Estate, Briar Ridge Vineyard, Brokenwood Wines, Gartelmann Wines, Glandore, Hungerford Hill, Hunters Dream Estate, Mount Eyre Vineyards, Peterson House, Tatler Wines, Thomas Wines, Tulloch Wines and Winmark Wines.

Some of the Hunter Valley’s top hand-picked drops will be in circulation over the weekend.

Food producers such as Twine Restaurant, the Hunter Valley Cheese Factory, the Deck Café and Oak and Vine Restaurant, Cypress Lakes will be on site as well as a selection of local food vendors. Meet and greet the team from the Hunter Valley Wildlife Park, Wine Selectors and Mosman Rotary.

“We are very excited to be bringing the Hunter Valley back to Balmoral next month after the success of last year’s event,” said Hunter Valley Wine & Tourism Association CEO Jennie Curran.

“Our producers are enthusiastic to return to showcase their wines and produce to the Balmoral, Mosman and Sydney communities for a great day out.”

Festival pack tickets – including tasting vouchers – are available now for $35 or $50.

Festival goers can sample the region’s finest vinos by purchasing either a Festival Pack or a Premium Pack. The Festival Pack available for pre-purchase is $35 and includes entry, one tumbler and four tasting vouchers.

The Premium Pack is available for pre-purchase for $50 and includes entry, one Spiegelau wine glass and 4x tasting vouchers. Pre-sale tickets are on sale from Wednesday, September 13, plus purchase pre-sale tickets and go in the draw to win one of five cases of premium Hunter Valley wines. Alternatively, tickets can be purchased on the day at the gate.

The event kicks off at 11am and there is a FREE shuttle bus available.

The event kicks off at 11am, with the last wine vouchers sold at 4.30pm and last wine poured at 4.45pm for a 5pm finish. There will be free event shuttle buses running every 15 minutes from Mosman and Spit Junction to Balmoral Beach.
