Attention Shoppers! Aldi Australia brings back mammoth ski gear sale after a two-year hiatus.

The question on every thrifty Australian skier’s (and boarder’s) mind before the start of the ski season is finally answered: The ALDI Snow Gear Sale is back for 2023!

Yes, folks, the supermarket giant’s biggest-ever sale is happening on Saturday, 20 May, and you’ll need to be up early to snag the best bargains, starting at just $4.99.

Middle aisle shoppers can look forward to more than 70 un-brr-liveable items, from ski jackets and pants to woollen socks and scarves, with a family of four slope ready for under $990.

Following the two-year hiatus, the famous range is packed with high-performance gear and innovative tech for a fraction of what you’d expect to pay.

Aldi Special Deals Buying Director Belinda Grice told the SnowBrains website the 2023 ski gear range offers “uncompromised quality, durability and comfort.”

“We know our customers will be pleased with the quality of the range, including our 100 per cent UV protection goggles which are ventilated to avoid fogging and 12k waterproof-breathable outerwear,” she said.

Adult waterproof, breathable and stylish ski jackets start at $59.99, with matching ski pants at $49.99. The adult ski gear also includes thermals, socks, gloves, goggles, beanies and more.

The kids’ range is just as extensive, with children’s snow jackets at $39.99 and matching pants for $29.99.
