A long-standing local business that’s been lighting up the community for 65 years is the latest to ride the development wave reshaping the lower north shore.
The property at 33-35 Cabramatta Rd, home to Harrold’s Electrical Services, is now on the market, offering a rare chance to purchase a triple fronted site close to Mosman village.

Harrold’s Electrical Service has been in Mosman for 65 years.
But while the corner block is up for sale, Harrold’s isn’t going anywhere just yet. The much-loved local business will rent the premises for the next 12 months, before moving its operations online.
The 613sqm prime parcel of land falls within Mosman’s new low to mid-rise housing area, and is zoned R2 with a boosted Floor Space Ratio (FSR), making it a standout site for redevelopment.
“With its retail shop and attached residence, this is a prized site offering endless potential,” agent Jason Lowry told Mosman Collective, “there is a 60-metre frontage and the property is in a quiet, leafy street that is perfect for families or downsizers.”

The site is home to a retail store, with an attached residence.

The three-bedroom semi and business are leased for the next 12 months.
Options for the incoming buyer include owner occupying the existing store and residence, building a large luxury home, or developing duplexes or a small apartment block.
Owned by the Harrold family since 1971, Mr Lowry said the business will continue to operate for the next 12 months, with a commercial lease in place until May 2026.

Mr Lowry said the listing has attracted 400 enquiries ahead of a June 14 auction. The price guide is $4.9 million.
“It is important to note that the business is not closing down,” he said, “it’s just the building that is being sold.”
He said more than 400 enquiries have been received on 33-35 Cabramatta Rd ahead of an on-site auction which will take place on June 14.
The price guide is $4.9 million.
