The Balmoral Burn is back for its 23rd year to raise money for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation.
On Sunday, participants will charge up one of the steepest hills in Sydney, Awaba Street.

Participants can run solo or alongside their school, sports group or workplace.
Elite athletes, kids, pensioners, and pet owners can register to run, walk or crawl up the hill across individual, family, corporate and school group categories.
To date, Humpty has raised over $100 million and annually, on average, provides 500 pieces of medical equipment to paediatric wards, neonatal units, and maternity and emergency departments across the country.
Balmoral Burn Creator and Ambassador of the annual event, Phil Kearns AM is confirmed to attend.
“And this year the babies are back bigger, bouncier and taking on Australia’s only inflatable baby suit race – Run Baby Run at 10 am – which made its official race day debut last year,” spokesperson Adele Feletto said.

Local dog owners can even participate in their own special Balmoral Burn event!
Humpty Dumpty Foundation supporter Tim Akers made history in 2023 as the first-ever participant in an inflatable baby suit to honour his son Archie, who was born three months early at just 900 grams and spent 12 weeks in a Neonatal Care Unit using Humpty Dumpty Foundation donated equipment.
81-year-old Mosman local John Simmonds will head up the hill in the 70+ Age Category Male & Female race at 9.40 am – the 14th time he’s participated in the iconic Sydney event.
Ms Feletto said Humpty’s first-ever dunk tank will debut this year on race day.
“Whether you’re aiming for the target or just there to enjoy the laughs, Humpty’s Dunk Tank promises to be one of the day’s highlights and a real plunge for a purpose,” she said.

The 420 metre climb up Awaba St is a brutal – but worthy – right of passage for Mosman locals.
