Mosman Book Sale

Save the date and start making room on your bookshelf for some new but pre-loved titles.

The next Mosman Library Service book sale is happening from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 July.

The bargains start from just $2, with copies of books and bundles of magazines, no longer required in the library collection, available to purchase.

Night at the Barracks

Bucket list event, Night at the Barracks, is back this September, with a phenomenal series of concerts set against the historic backdrop of the North Head Sanctuary’s Barracks Precinct.

This year, Sydneysiders will rock out to the likes of Icehouse, Jon Stevens, Jessica Mauboy and Pete Murray. Best advice is to secure your tickets now to avoid disappointment.

Chatty Hookers

It’s not what you think! Chatty Hookers Crochet Group is meeting at Café Jam in Bridgepoint this Sunday at 10am. Anyone interested in crafting is invited to attend for a chat, a coffee and some quality community crochet time!

Astronaut Katherine Bennell-Pegg

Calling all aspiring astronauts! The incredible Katherine Bennell-Pegg (Queenwood Alumni and Australia’s first female astronaut) will be stopping by the largest Lego store in the world next Tuesday – and you can meet her!

The Sydney-born explorer will greet space enthusiasts at the CBD’s sprawling Pitt St Lego megastore from 10am on Tuesday, July 16. It’s a school holiday “must do”.

Queenwood old girl and Australian astronaut Katherine Bennell-Pegg is home in Australia this July.

Give Blood

One in three people in North Sydney will require blood at some stage, and next week is your chance to donate.
