Get epic harbourside views this New Year’s Eve by celebrating at one of six sites across magnificent national parks around Sydney Harbour.

Almost 9000 tickets have been released to ring in 2023, with Minister for Environment James Griffin saying there are plenty still available for some of the best vantage points in Sydney.

“Many people don’t realise that some of our most dazzling Sydney harbourside locations are actually part of our national parks estate, and they host the best New Year’s Eve events in the city,” Mr Griffin said.

There are a number of local, family-friendly options for NYE 2022.

“For the ultimate Sydney New Year’s Eve, ring in 2023 on one of three of our national parks harbour islands – Shark Island, Clark Island or Me-Mel (Goat Island).

“Our harbour islands have uninterrupted views of the fireworks, food, drinks, or BYO picnic, and there’s a DJ at the Clark and Shark Island Parties.

“There are plenty of family-friendly options too at Bradley’s Head and North Head, but get in quick because tickets are already selling out.

“There’s nothing better than farewelling 2022 in the centre of the action and surrounded by nature at one of our spectacular Sydney national parks events.”

Bradleys Head is an alcohol free zone on NYE.

Bradleys Head is the perfect place to farewell 2022.

For the first time since 2018, all six Sydney national parks harbour-side sites are open, offering events to suit all plans and budgets.

One event is free, with tickets at the other sites ranging in price from $23 to $285. Drinks and food vary at each site.
